Wrath Lich

Like many players of World of Warcraft struggled with the idea of plunging into another expansion. I thought I had reached level 70, done some damage in the Battlegrounds and the Arena, has been around for many of the events known as Leroy Jenkins and "more points" and heard more jokes Chuck Norris and Murloc A man should never be subjected. Maybe it was time to hang the Druid and do something else? Try a different game?

I said that once the Burning Crusade came out which had a maximum character, run a lot of content end of the game and be done with it. I mean, for the love of Pete, will there ever be an end? Will we see expansion number 23, where the maximum is increased to 1400, everyone has a bazooka and our pets are family and pets of yours? Is there ever going to be an end? I suppose the answer to this is the time that Blizz is making money will keep going and going and going. Is it bad? A good thing? Does it matter?

A common complaint about the World of Warcraft is the expense of everything too long. For those who may be most of the things I hear about WoW is in the media. Most of that coverage is of addicts who sit at the keyboard for 100 hours a week and some examples real horrible violence in the real world in relation to something that happened in the game (which is just crazy).

These examples, although they make good television, are by far the exception rather than the rule. I know people who play and including the average hours per week were played about 10 hours. You know how many hours TV does the average American watch a week? About 30. The average American watches more than 4 hours of television per day (seriously, look it up!). They do not interact or thinking or trying to resolve the puzzles or do anything but sit down and start a screen for 1/6th of each day. Its impressive.

You get to blow stuff up and beat up bad guys. There is a decent amount of thought and resolution problems thats needed when playing at the highest levels, especially when you get into attacking situations. There is a very strange subculture online in the game can sometimes be very amusing. It's a hobby that happens to me to share with 11 million others and, in general, compared with a lot of hobbies, its very cheap. Treat to find a hobby that can keep you enthralled for hours and you can do as much as you want in less than a dollar a day. Its not easy.

Thus which, as you probably guessed by now, I recently bought the expansion. Is it better than ever? Not sure yet. Is it ever expansion cooler to be produced by an online game ever? Not sure. Is it worth it? Look at it from a purely financial angle ...

This extension is designed to last at least a year and a half, if not more, before the next. So spread the cost of this expansion over 18 months comes to 2.22 cost over a dollar and a cup of coffee more than $ 2. A movie ticket for one is about $ 10, add popcorn, a candy bar and a drink and you're very close to $ 18 for a couple of hours.

So worth it? I would say undoubtedly yes. You'll get to check out some new content, play with your friends, and stay out of trouble for a while. And do not forget all the free Chuck jokes Norris and discussions hilarious movie name where everyone replaces a word with murloc. (Saving Private Murloc <-- see what I did there?). Is it any good? Not really. And you can not put a price on fun mindless entertainment. Thank you!
